Last of the cherry blossoms

The very brief period of peak bloom is over, and the many cherry trees that grace the District are exchanging their blossoms for leaves, but now the dogwoods, another Washington classic, are starting to bloom.

I can't tell from this photo these are the last of the the peak bloom. Great shot. Sad to say Sayornara to the cherry blossoms, but now you have something else to look forward to. ~VVVVV~
