Since the Tidal Basin was packed with tourists this weekend, we decided to view the cherry blossoms at a favorite spot near the US Capitol. The flowers were just as beautiful, but an extremely strong wind made taking pictures a real challenge, and at times it looked like it was raining blossoms.
