Tyrannosaurus rex

One of the most recognizable dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus rex was also one of the largest carnivorous land animals. This model was made with horse chestnut bark, pine bark, shell fungus, trumpet vine fruit and other natural materials.

Taken at the US Botanic Garden’s annual holiday display, this year titled ‘Season’s Greenings: Dino-Mite!’.
