The reason why there were no geese in the lake

This only shows a few of them, but a large number of Canada geese were all over this grassy area at Constitution Gardens on the National Mall and didn’t mind my getting close to photograph them. We haven’t been able to visit the gardens for a while, mainly due to weather but also because of a lack of free time on Sundays due to football season. Hopefully that will change soon!

Love all the different poses. With that many geese on the lawn you need to watch where you step.

A curse on English Bay, in Vancouver, BC. They eat non-stop and what goes in, also comes out non-stop ... resembles a cigarette on the ground ... but EVERYWHERE! And there are hundreds of them at any one time.
