The root of the problem

Tim’s question when he sent me this shot of the fallen tree (see below/previous picture) was, “Didn’t it have any roots??”

A visual definition of having a really dad day. I hope the owner of the car is not also a federal employee that might need to be job hunting plus I hope that the owner of the car has good insurance. The recent storms this spring have really brought damage and destruction to so many places. The trees do adds a special beauty ,when not falling, to this beautiful neighborhood.

Yeah, I guess so. I don't see roots, as I said in the last photo. The roots have died first and broke off from the trunk first. When there's strong wind, the tree just gave up.

I would imagine there are many such trees in the city with inadequate root systems.

Perfectly named a sad image someone will have car repairs done soon a pain in the butt having to deal with the problem.

Roots look they've crumbled in the soil or got ripped apart when it fell. Yikes for the car's owner.
