This is a ritual we go through every night, after Tim vacates the sofa. Queenie looks for my permission to jump up on it and wants me to hold her paw for a while. The other night, when I got busy on my iPad and let go of her paw, she banged the sofa several times with her paw to remind me that she still wanted attention.
