Both buildings are beautiful, albeit of vastly different styles. Great contrast between old and new. ~BV~

I infinitely prefer the old to the new and if it is a case of holding out, more power to them! I hope the house remains for many years. This sort of thing is going on here too, very unpleasant. V

I hope they continue to hold out. The loss of these old buildings is shameful. A very strong contrast in styles in your great capture. V

The old architecture is so much more interesting. Nice shot of this contrasting combination.

This is probably one of those hold-outs, but makes for a nice contrast with the modern building.

The new ones really do over shadow the more period building, Helen.V

More power to them! So much more 'human' and aesthetic.

I know I like the old better! V

It’s a fine old building and hopefully it can still keep resisting.
Nick Paoni14-Jun-2023 20:45
The juxtaposition is so striking here. I sure like the architecture of the old house better than the modern building.
