Manila street scene (and ‘This trip is cursed’)

A few days ago I had titled a picture “The trip from hell” because of Tim’s problems getting from DC to Tokyo, but today he said in an email that “This trip is cursed … glad this is my last trip.” He was scheduled to fly from Manila to Kuala Lumpur for a flight to New Delhi, but the KL flight was delayed by several hours, causing him to miss his connection to Delhi. Now he has to fly from KL to Hyderabad and then on to New Delhi, arriving some 12 hours later than originally expected.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

Contrasting lifestyles, Manila, posted earlier:

I hope he has a smoother rest of the trip with no delays. Those wires are frightening. Being engrossed in the phone is universal. V

One of the joys of international airline travel.

A tangle overhead, a tangle at ground level. But things get done. V

Wow, he's a trooper! Kind of like the guy that deals with all of those wires!
