Art Allery

A few weeks ago I posted a shot of a man readying a brick wall for murals that the District’s art program, MuralsDC, had commissioned across the city to celebrate its 15th year. This alley off H Street NE features 8 of the 15 new artworks. On the opposite wall of the alley are a series of DC Statehood murals that I previously photographed and included in my Capitol Hill murals gallery http://pbase.com/helenpb/pbasecomhelenpbcapitol_hil_murals

Amazingly, none of these street level murals (or the other ones across the way) had been tagged.

Pictures of the individual murals will follow, but I just wanted to give a sense of the size of the project.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

Patients’ rights, posted earlier:

Amazing to have the whole area done at the same time. I look forward to seeing your photos of each mural.
