Big Frank and his BBQ

8th Street SE on Capitol Hill is a mecca for DC restaurant-goers, at least it was pre-pandemic. Big Frank’s BBQ recently partnered with a pub to use their reserved parking spaces for a food truck with a 1,500 pound smoker that can produce over 300 pounds of meat a day as well as a tent for dining. We thought it might merit a visit.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

Spring is arriving at the gardens, posted earlier

Yay for street food! Though I'm surprised the man in the apron (I'm assuming Big Frank), isn't wearing a mask.

a resourceful approach, bringing food to the street, and handy for people who work from home...the reversal of practices seems to have attracted a hungry crowd..
