Here one day…

Mural at a construction site in NoMa that we’ve seen several times. I finally decided to stop and photograph it before it disappears. The amount of development going on in this area is simply unbelievable. The mural was painted by Emon Surakitkoson for the Pow! Wow! DC 2020 international mural festival.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

That would be cool even as a permanent mural!

That's a really good way of hiding the construction site and makes an attractive addition to the streetscape.
The composition works very well. V

A lovely mural nicely captured in the context with those new buildings.

Interesting that the mural is in mono and not vivid colours, and it stands out for that. If those highrises are any indication, you have a lot of high density development going on. V

The clarity and DOF give me a good view down the entire length of the mural. Love all those geometric shapes in the background.
