We picked up our zippy little 135i in Munich 10 years ago, and it’s been with us in Budapest, Riyadh and Washington. BMW maintenance is always expensive, but when I heard we had to have the struts replaced to the tune of $5,000, plus whatever else it needed this time around, I decided the car was going to bankrupt us and that it was time to bite the bullet and look for a new one. Tim went yesterday just to test-drive the two models we were considering and find out what we’d get as a trade-in, and after spending all afternoon there, drove this M240i home, much to my surprise.
My feeling is that car dealers are desperate to make new sales. I don’t have many new pictures, so maybe I’m desperate too ;-).
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
