The ubiquitous hawker

These guys are everywhere in Istanbul, hawking their wares and waylaying tourists as they try to walk by. I must say in retrospect that the addition of the kitty was a clever strategy. Who could pass up stopping to pet such a cutie!

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

P.S. the cat seems perfectly at home on that pile of cushions, makes me think of that great documentary about the cats of Istanbul, "Kedi". Well worth seeing.
