Süleymaniye Mosque, Istanbul

The Süleymaniye Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque located on the Third Hill of Istanbul. The mosque was commissioned by Suleiman the Magnificent, designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan and inaugurated in 1557.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Wonderful composition and the hazy light enhances the feeling of antiquity.
