Uh, Merry Christmas?

I was amazed to see that they had bought their Christmas tree a half week before Thanksgiving. I don’t know about their house, but it would get awfully dry in ours being up for a month before Christmas.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

He’s pretty, and he knows it, posted earlier:

I always start to see this on Thanksgiving week - it's mid-December before we start to think seriously about it.

Interesting capture before December even started.

Between the warm weather you've been having outdoors and the "hot" (for a live cut tree) atmosphere of indoors, I can't help but think of dried evergreen needles and a major fire hazard. However, some garden centers here had live trees on sale immediately after Halloween. Others are just now starting to get their live trees. However, I feel it's still too early. Evergreen dry out so fast indoors - no matter what you do.

It's already started here, seen a lot of people with X-Mas trees on their cars, but then again, it's pretty cold here. Dec. 1st seem to be the date for that!

Christmas trees to buy are in the markets already but we have colder weather than you do so can keep them outside till decorating time inside. Has that car been stitched together??
