Some traditions die hard

I had earlier posted a more distant picture of this Starbucks, noting that women and men are now allowed to mingle in a single shop, unlike before, when the sexes were strictly segregated, even in such situations as lines for fast food and privacy booths at McDonalds. It’s true that such places are becoming more liberal, but I don’t see any women in this prime space, although there is one in the reflection. My guess is that women still congregate in a separate area.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Bothersome ducks! posted earlier:

Surprising to see the store walls made entirely of glass.

At first didn't realize it was Riyahd. Thought it was the staff relaxing because they had no customers! :-)
