Old times

We lived in this old house (the unit on the right) in Foggy Bottom for a year after returning from Australia and before buying our own house on Capitol Hill. It was so small that the movers couldn’t even get our box springs up the stairs, so we slept on the floor for a year. It was a great neighborhood, though, which has changed dramatically since we moved out in 1988. The wooden walkway is something new.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
