I had posted another picture of this water lily taken by Tim as I thought his was better than mine, but I still like the reflection in this one so will end this gallery with it.

We decided to take a drive out to Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens, situated 15 minutes from home near the DC-Maryland border. Although we always go for the annual water lily and lotus festival, we thought we'd see what was there in advance of it. It was disappointing that there weren't many birds, but we did find a few other things of interest to photograph.
