This is 'progress'?

As mentioned in an earlier picture, the Chinese have laid a lot of landfill directly across from the presidential palace for the construction an enormous complex that will totally block the view of the Indian Ocean. Apparently, the Sri Lankans couldn’t pay the Chinese for a port built in another part of the country, so now this. I heard the word “predatory” mentioned with regards to this project.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
