The thief

I walked to the park today looking for photo ops, but there was absolutely nothing – no birds, no squirrels, no early blossoms. But when I got home, I came across this greedy squirrel raiding my neighbor’s bird feeder. At one point he left and the birds took over, but then he made a giant leap from the fence and scared them all away. Finally, I shooed him away and left the feeder to the hungry sparrows.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Wow, that is a real close up! I was surprised to see that it was done using the 300 PF. Worked great! Well done!

Greedy little guy!! They do the same here, but they are so darned cute. I have a number of feeders so there is usually enough for all! V

We have caught them trying to climb down off the roof onto our hanging bird feeder. Great capture, Helen. I love that Z7, but I'd better wait a few years to tell my wife that. Enjoy! V

And a wonderfully agile acrobatic little fella he is! Maybe you need more oak trees in the neighborhood...

can't blame a hungry creature for exploiting the opportunities....they do consume more than a fair share though...intriguing POV...
