Several people asked to see the US Capitol in its sunset colors, so on our way home from Virginia I had Tim drive by it, even though I thought it was probably too late to see this phenomenon. I jumped out of the car and took this; two seconds later it started losing color, and five minutes later, when we left, it was white again.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
