Eeek!

We went down to the National Mall today because I wanted to use my new camera and needed something to photograph other than houses around Capitol Hill. So I took some pictures of my old standby, the US Capitol, and found a few other things along the way.

Some parents were allowing their little boy try to feed (or pet or something) this squirrel. I think this was the mother’s hand, but when the squirrel got close we warned them to stop. Not only can the squirrel rip your hand open (which happened to me years ago), they carry rabies as well. Luckily I had had my State Department rabies shot.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Just your everyday corner house, posted earlier:

Wow....people aren’t very smart. Never trust wildlife. It is a sweet capture though. V

kind to offer the hand of friendship, but perhaps not wise, especially with no food on offer, to a wild creature..

Excellent sharp shot with your new camera Helen.

Healthy looking squirrel and very sharp in original view, the Z7 is impressive.

That is very risky! Great capture, Helen...
