Straight shot

It’s a good thing I went out on Sunday for these pictures because we’ve had heavy rain since Sunday night, and I think a lot of the leaves are now gone.

*****

Fall came very late to Capitol Hill this year due to unseasonably warm temperatures until the end of October and rain all summer long. The Washington Post had, in fact, called the color "muted," so I set out to prove them wrong and also show off the Victorian houses that host the trees.

Leaves gone - nothing wrong with that... it means no more raking :-)
