Continuation of the scene below in which an osprey circled, dove into the water with a big splash, emerged with a fish and carried it to a tree to eat. Once again, I’m not sure who took this since Tim and I were trading cameras the whole day and we both photographed parts of it, but again, I’ll guess Tim did.
At first I thought there was dust on the sensor or something, but then I realized those specks were water drops dripping off the fish, it was that fresh.
Taken at Huntley Meadows Park in Fairfax County, Virginia, a marvelous wetland, meadowland and forest area about a half hour outside Washington, D.C.
