The little thief

Washington, D.C.

I chased this squirrel, who was eating my tulips, out of our yard, so then he went next door to the bird feeder garden. Not a very tidy place ;-).

Remember, tulips bulbs are favorite appetizers for squirrels, possums, groundhogs, skunks and chipmunks. I had to switch to just daffodils for spring colors.

So pretty and spring like with the daffodils. They do love the tulips, but they are just so cute.... V

Mischievous little guy! Great eye contact. Such fun to watch as long as you're not guarding tulips!

Ugh. At one time I had over 100 tulips in front of the house. It took the squirrels 3-4 years before they got every one. Plant daffodils instead. You don't have to dig them in the winter and nothing easts them. Vote.
