Hierapolis ruins

Founded in the early second century B.C., Hierapolis was an ancient city located on hot springs in classical Phrygia in southwestern Anatolia, or Asia Minor. Its ruins are adjacent to modern Pamukkale (see previous pictures) in Turkey and currently comprise an archeological museum designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

I don’t know what this building was and can’t find it pictured anywhere, but whatever, it was imposing.
