Atatürk Dam

Atatürk Dam is a zoned rock-fill dam with a central core on the Euphrates River on the border of Adıyaman and Şanlıurfa provinces in southeastern Turkey. Part of the GAP project, Atatürk is one of the world’s largest dams, and the reservoir behind it is the third biggest in Turkey. DSI is the Devlet Su İşleri, or State Waterworks Authority.

I always find dams very interesting to see and visit. I Found the Brasilian dam Itaipu overwhelming.
