The 'brains' behind the broadcast

We had dinner with friends from Saudi Arabia last night, at our favorite Chinese restaurant, located in Rosslyn, Virginia. The ABC affiliate for the DC area, WJLA, is located in the same building. I had never stopped to look in the window of the studio before, but I found the scene fascinating. This must be some of the computer equipment that supports the broadcasting operation. Not quite as interesting as the scene pictured below, but still an impressive setup, I thought (and in all honesty, it’s all I have to post right now in the middle of work ;-)).
