The air-conditioned great outdoors

I found it quite interesting that the hotel had several of these large air-conditioning units outside, near seating areas. There wasn’t one where we were sitting enjoying the most delicious non-alcoholic cocktail I’ve ever had (with grenadine, 7-Up, mint and grapefruit juice, I think), but with the many swimming pools, palm trees and sea breeze, it was quite comfortable, humidity notwithstanding.

Another picture uploaded today (well, two, actually) of the hotel beach and Al Hajar Mountains:

The drink sounds delicious. I bet it's a lot cooler than the misters they have in Vegas.

I'd enjoy this area but without that big A/C unit looming behind me.
