This was the shop where I bought an abaya since I felt quite out of place being the only woman in the souk without one. I found one that I liked, and they even had makeshift fitting room (unlike in Saudi Arabia). The tailor took up the hem for me in a few minutes, and we were off. As I mentioned elsewhere, several of the merchants stopped us on our way out saying, how nice I looked in it. Maybe they were just trying to curry favor for a sale, but I also think they appreciated me respecting their customs.
