St. John's Church, side chapel

St. John's Church, dating to 1426 and then reconstructed in 1749, is situated on the Vilnius University campus. There was a concert going on that evening, and a young man with a great camera persuaded us to attend part of it, even though we weren't really dressed for it. He kept coming over and asking us to stay, so we did, and it was delightful. I have two clips my husband took with his iPhone; they're with the first two interior pictures.

This is the most unusual depiction of the cruxifixion which I've seen. A wonderfully ornate piece of artwork and you've captured the details perfectly. V
