Today is Szent István Day, commemorating István (Stephen), the first king of Hungary. Fireworks are set off simultaneously at three locations on the Danube and are a spectacle enjoyed by millions of people.

I'm putting this one in only to show how impressive it was to have fireworks going off together in different locations. Unfortunately, my lens wasn't wide enough to catch the third display. FWIW Parliament wasn't lit up for most of the show but came on only at the end.
