Except it was really sort of silly. When we were hiking up the very steep and long hill to get to the castle (should have taken the horse-drawn cart for sure), I heard what I knew was Turkish music. Turns out there were belly dancers (!) performing, prior to what we thought would be a re-enactment of the battle between the Ottomans and the Hungarians at the castle. However, after the firing (by accident?) of one cannon, it moved on to a sort of fashion show of the participants. Honestly, if this is what they do routinely at the castle, I would skip it (and the climb) and head directly for the village itself.
