This and the following were the last two carpets I bought while on business in Istanbul. They were brought to me here in Washington by our carpet dealer, and while he was at the house my contractors came by to chat. They fell in love with these two pieces and wanted to buy them (before I had even put them on the floor), but I think their wives later disabused them of the idea. In the meantime, I decided I really loved both of them so was just as happy that they didn't want them.
