The Holocaust Memorial Center was truly a sobering experience, explaining how around 550,000 of Hungary's very large and vibrant Jewish community perished in 1944. The exhibits were quite moving and well displayed, but the only place I could take pictures was in the facility's synagogue, which was stunning. I have a few more images to process, but these will give an idea of its magnificence.
