Debrecen: Hungary's Eastern Jewel

Debrecen is located in the east of Hungary, near the Ukrainian and Romanian borders. It's Hungary's second largest city, with a population of 200,000 (Budapest is first with 2 million). A pleasant town, Debrecen has been inhabited since Roman times. During the revolution of 1848, it served as Hungary's capital, and the parliament met here. A city that definitely bears another visit!
