dry fit

Now it starts to take a bit of shape. From here the side pieces get glued together. Then a nice little
rounded cutout will be made at the base on both sides to "lighten" the look a bit. The three thin
pieces of stock become stretchers at the front of the steps and at the back. Once all that is done
and dry fit it will all be glued up, sanded out, and completed with a nice finish. Getting there.

I think when you get it all glued together you should leave all the chalk marks on and then clear finish it, just for the memories! LOL, just kidding!
