Port Aransas 2008

Shopping comes first on any trip. Typical water front condos with their water transportation. Really old shrimp boat still in use. A more modern shrimper. More high scale boats.
The only way to fish - they have a guest off to the right. Do I get a fish too? Sundown view from our condo. The birds are Pelicans. Shop till you drop! Of course we picked up some fresh shrimp.
In the bag are shoes and sea shells. A Pelican waiting for surf to wash up a fish. This guy is an Oyster Catcher. A Sand Piper looking for a marine bug. Parasailing ...the guy is on a surf board being pulled along. Looks like fun.

The Aircraft Carrier Lexington. Badly damaged by Japs in four battles - now a tourist attraction. These are examples of old houses in Corpus Cristi moved to a park. One of my favorite houses. I could live like this! This one is really old.
