Fans of the Twilight series of books and movies are drawn to Forks like vampires to a fresh jugular vein.

Forks, known for its rainy climate and chronic lack of sunshine, was the chosen location for the wildly successful Twilight books even though the author, a resident of sunny Arizona, hadn't even visited the town when she wrote the first book. The subsequent movies weren't filmed there, either - but rather in Kalama, OR. This doesn't stop the die-hard fans from still visiting the town years later, and the town doesn't disappoint with many Twilight-themed attractions and points of interest.
