Lake Crescent, WA

Devil’s Punchbowl, at Lake Crescent near Port Angeles, is a popular swimming and diving hole with an estimated depth of at least 100 feet. The lake itself is recognized as having a maximum depth of 624 feet, however when laying power cables in the 1980s depths of more than 1,000 feet were located - the limit of the equipment being used.

Thrill-seekers jump in from heights ranging from 15 feet (off the bridge) to 50 feet (off the cliff).
