A series of hand-dug pools slowly grow cooler as they move away from a 130-degree hot spring. The warmer pools are the most popular. Frequented by a broad mix of travelers, and not everyone wears clothes. Arrived very early AM to avoid having to navigate naked people in order to get some photos. There are pools on both sides of the river; some a short easy hike from a rest stop on the highway, and the others requiring more local knowledge to access.
