Nine feet tall, carved in the 1980s by local chainsaw artist Fred Bero. She originally sat in a little park next to the Long Beach Tavern, but is now the mascot of the Mermaid Inn. Her bulky appearance, in contrast with the typical lithe ocean enchantress, has been criticized.
