Boardman, OR

The Captain Al James, a steel 3-story pusher-style tug boat, was constructed in 1959. It was designed specifically to meet the challenges it would face on the Columbia River. It became a permanent on-landmark when it was retired in 1972 and put on display along the Columbia River Heritage Trail.
