Warrenton, OR
A marker shows the site of only attack by the Japanese during World War II on a military installation on the U.S. mainland. The monument is an upright slab in the shape of Oregon, engraved with a picture of the Japanese sub I-25, which lobbed 17 shells at a nearby military base on June 21, 1942.
