Ladder Creek Falls are accessed by a suspension bridge and trail leading upstream behind the Gorge Powerhouse. The falls were once famous for the light show that ran from dusk to midnight daily. Installed in the 1920 by the Seattle City Light Superintendent, the falls were illuminated with various colors while music played throughout the gardens. The lights were updated in 2008, but the lights and grounds have been neglected since. Now the gardens are unmaintained, and it is reported that few, if any, lights still work.
