The "Danger Falling Cows" sign commemorates an instance where, one Sunday, a rogue cow escaped its confines and fell off of the top of Rocky Point, landing on the front of a van being driven back from church. The two people in the van were tremendously frightened, but uninjured. The van, (amazingly enough), managed to make it another half mile before succumbing from the rather extensive damage. The cow was badly injured, and became hamburgers.
