Goat Falls is a small waterfall along Goat Creek in the vicinty of the Silver Springs / Crystal Mountain area off of Highway 410. From the standpoint of a waterfall hunter, this is - to put it lightly - a stinker. The falls drop all of about 10 feet over a small ledge, flanked by a large boulder that almost blocks the falls from view. However, as a photographer, Goat Falls is very quickly growing on me as an outstanding location for streamscape photography.
