Metlako Falls is the final major waterfall along Eagle Creek. The falls drop out of narrow, calm pool, and thunder into a long impressive box canyon which extends a considerable distance downstream from the falls. The viewing point on the side of the canyon collapsed in 2013 and a couple of years later the entire area was destroyed in a forest fire started by a kid lighting fireworks along this trail. To date, the trail has not yet reopened.
