Mt Rainier National Park, WA
The Gobblers Knob Fire Lookout, built in 1933, is a historic, 5,485-foot-high lookout in Mount Rainier National Park that offers panoramic, close-up views of the mountain. It is one of four remaining lookouts in the park, featuring a, accessible wrap-around balcony. The hike is considered strenuous (approx. 10-12 miles roundtrip) and is best visited from July to October.
