Six whimsical trolls were hand-built using recycled wood over the summer by Danish recycle artist, Thomas Dambo, and his crew, with the help of many volunteers. These trolls have been installed in various locations in Washington and Oregon, challenging people to find them all. A cluster of colorful bird houses on a pole serves as a clue - often found at a trailhead.
Jakob Two Trees stands tall on Rainier Trail in Issaquah. A stylish troll, Jakob wears a birdhouse necklace, a cedar bracelet, and cedar hair tie to hold his massive locks. His cedar accessories were harvested and beautifully braided by Snoqualmie Tribe artist, Ginger de los Angeles.
